Nothing prints until you approve a proof. A person checks every file first.
We answer within one business day, send your first proof within one business day, and ship within the production time shown on the product page once you approve.
If we got it wrong, we reprint it or refund it. Tell us within 14 days of delivery.
Who this is between
These terms are between you and Pressed Pig ("we", "us"), a print shop in Fairfield, California. Placing an order means agreeing to them. If you order for a business, you confirm you are allowed to.
Our service promises
A business day is Monday to Friday, Pacific time, not counting federal holidays.
| What | Our promise |
|---|---|
| Replies | Every email, voicemail and support request gets a reply from a person within one business day. Calls ring through to a person; if we miss yours, we call back within one business day. |
| Your first proof | Within one business day of your order (for holiday cards and calendars, of your payment). If we are designing it for you, your first look is within 48 hours. |
| Revised proofs | Within one business day of your changes. |
| Shipping | Your order ships within the production time shown on its product page, counted from the business day after you approve the proof and it is paid. |
| Delivery | The delivery estimate on each product page adds the carrier's normal transit time. Carriers set their own schedules, so a delivery date is an estimate, not a promise; ship-by is ours to keep. |
If you need it by a date, put it in your order. If we cannot make it, we will tell you before you pay, not after.
Proofs
Every order gets a proof: a picture of exactly what will print. Check it carefully, especially spelling, phone numbers, dates and addresses. Once you approve a proof, it prints exactly as shown, and a mistake that was in the approved proof is not a reprint on us. Colors on a screen and on paper are never quite the same; small differences in color are normal in printing and are not a defect.
Prices and payment
- Prices are on each product page, in US dollars. Holiday cards and calendars are paid by card when you order. Other orders are paid by card through a secure link we send you before anything prints.
- Sales tax is added for California addresses.
- Shipping is included anywhere in California, and free anywhere in the US for holiday cards and calendars. Other orders shipping outside California pay shipping at cost.
- Every Door Direct Mail postage is the Postal Service's own price, added at cost.
- Promo codes are applied when you order. If you forgot yours, tell us within 14 days and we will apply it.
Changing or cancelling an order
- Before you approve the proof: change anything, or cancel for a full refund.
- After you approve it: your order goes into production and cannot be cancelled, because it is printed for you alone.
- Design work already done is charged even if you cancel, at the design price shown when you ordered.
If something goes wrong
If your order does not match the proof you approved, is misprinted, or arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with a photo. We will reprint it at no charge, or refund it if you would rather. If a package is lost in transit, we will reprint and resend it.
Because everything we print is made for you, we cannot take back orders that were printed as approved.
Your artwork
You confirm you have the right to print everything you send us: photos, logos, text and designs. You keep the rights to your artwork; we use it only to make your order and to reprint it if you ask. We may refuse to print anything unlawful, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Campaign material must carry the disclosures California law requires. We point them out, but they are the campaign's responsibility.
Limits
If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid for that order. We are not responsible for losses caused by a late or failed delivery beyond the remedies above. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under California law that cannot be limited.
Changes
The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. These terms are governed by California law.
