Some cards belong on the mantel. Some people you only reach by email: the cousin who moved twice this year, the coworker you would never mail a paper card to, the friend overseas where postage costs more than the card.
For them, we made digital cards. They are the same designs as our printed holiday cards, sent by email, and they arrive with a little show: when the card is opened, Pica, our pig, walks on with a paint roller and paints it right onto the screen.
How it works
- Pick a design. Every one of our holiday card designs can be sent digitally, from family photo cards to illustrated wreaths, Hanukkah, New Year and business cards.
- Make it yours. Add your photo, your greeting, your name and a message. The card changes as you type, and you can watch Pica paint it as many times as you like.
- Add the people. Type them in, or paste a list straight from your contacts.
- Send it now, or on a date. Pick a morning and it goes out then: a birthday at 8am, Christmas Eve, the first night of Hanukkah.
Each person gets an email with their name on it and a button to open the card. There is nothing to download and no account to make. The card opens in an envelope addressed to them, Pica paints it, and your message appears underneath.
They can write back
Under every card is a place to reply. Whatever they write comes straight to you by email, and nobody else ever sees it. You also get a note when someone opens your card, and a page that shows who has opened it so far.
What it costs
Your first card is free, to up to two people. We email you a short code to check it is really you, and that is all.
After that, you pay once per card, by how many people it goes to:
| Sent to | Price |
|---|---|
| 1 person | $1.99 |
| Up to 5 people | $3.99 |
| Up to 20 people | $7.99 |
| Up to 50 people | $14.99 |
| Up to 150 people | $29.99 |
No subscription, and nothing renews. Sending to more than 150? Email hello@pressedpig.com and we will help.
Printed and digital, together
Plenty of families send both: printed cards for the people who keep them on the fridge, and the same card by email for everyone else. Every printed design has a digital twin, so the two match.
If somebody would rather not get digital cards, there is a link at the bottom of every one. One click, and we never send them another.
Send your first card free, and let Pica do the painting.
